November 10th, just two days after Donald Trump was elected president, people gathered in downtown Portland to engage in a peaceful protest of the election results. Last night I attended one of the gatherings to document what was happening through photographs.
This is my first time shooting anything like this, and It was completely exhilarating.

This was the last image I took of the evening before I went home to see my wife. This kid, yeah I gave him the biggest hug.
